Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our blog "The Holy Smoke." The blog will have content designed to help people discover God, without judgement. There will be written articles and videos. Some of it will be satirical and fun.

It will be engaging, fun and interactive with a modern feel and strong design aesthetic.

We are based in Australia, where people are becoming less and less interested in God and spiritual things (in census data released 2 days ago, 30% of our population is 'non-religious.') Obviously the web is worldwide, but the basic idea is to help people re-discover an engaged, loving, incredible God.

The word "The" at the beginning is a nod to brands like The New York Times. (But that doesn't mean we want to replicate it.)

The Spirit of God is sometimes described in the Bible as 'breath', a similar idea to smoke.

Would prefer strong over whimsical. At the moment, we don't have any colours in mind.
