Business Card Design Brief
I am a freelance digital imaging / photo retouching artist. I work with photographers, art directors, agencies, and celebrities.
My work involves using Photoshop and a Wacom pen tablet to beautify or alter digital photos used in fashion magazines or commercial ads. This includes the removal of unsightly items, slim models or celebrities down and removal of blemishes, color correction etc.
A clearer picture of what I do can probably be viewed from my website which shows a before & after effect by hovering over the "touch me" icon at: http://www.stephyk.com or at http://www.facebook.com/stephykdi
Colors or style does not need to follow website as I plan on revamping it soon.
I have no logo. It will be fine to use the wordings in plain text with some play on fonts. I'm open if you'd like to design a logo as well.
Text to include:
- StephyK Digital Imaging
- Stephanie Koh
- Digital Imaging Artist
- www.stephyk.com
- email
- phone
(Actual contact details will be provided to winning designer. In the meantime, please use pseudo info and numbers)

I uploaded a couple of files that might help designers to identify possible styles, fonts, logos, motifs that I may like (under the inspiration file names).
Also had a possible idea for a design to have an abstract image of a woman's face on one side of the card and somewhat emulate what a retouching brief might look like. Perhaps using handwritting type fonts for the text. I tried to do a sample under concept1-sample.jpg. The other two were pulled off google images to give an idea what a brief might look like and the idea behind the abstract woman's face from another business card design. The abstract effect can be made to look different from what I have as it's a very rough draft.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Extending the deadline for a few days as there's quite a number of designers who have accepted invitation but yet to submit a design. I'm also just getting some feedback from friends and colleagues on the shortlisted designs at the moment and should come to a decision soon. Thanks to all those who've submitted designs! Appreciate the effort!

Requirements
Must have
- - If a logo is designed, it should still be deciphered if needed to be printed in black and white or be used on a dark background.
- If the company name needs to be separated for aesthetic reasons, "StephyK" should be emphasized, while "Digital Imaging" should be grouped together. "K" in the StephyK should be capitalized / uppercase.
Nice to have
- - Card can be double side or single sided if it suits the design or effect better.
- Artistic, stylish, simple, fun
- Can be unusual, vintage, retro
- Play with colors
- It would be nice to somehow incorporate what I do into the design, though not necessary if it makes it look too cluttered.
- Feel free to incorporate round corners, embossing, hot stamping if it's suitable and beautifies the design, though not necessary
Should not have
- - Should not be too cluttered, cartoonish, rigid or stiff looking.
- Not too corporate looking or boring
- Prefer if the color pink is not used.
- No QR codes please
- Should not look like VistaPrint's free templates
