Logo Design Brief

Design a logo for a new company based in Louisiana. U.S. named Touchstone Educational Consulting, LLC. Touchstone gives advise and support to schools nationwide to help them improve their educational program for students, and to find and develop talented school employees.

The definition of touchstone is the standard or criterion by which something is measured. Historically, a touchstone is a hard, dark stone that was used to test alloys of gold to measure their quality and value. You scraped the metal on the touchstone, and it would leave a certain color of mark.

I want the emblem for my company, Touchstone, to represent quality and high standards., or choosing the best.

The emblem with company name will be used primarily on letter head and simple printed projects, business cards and website. It can be colorful but it needs to still look good and stand out in gray scale on plain white paper.
