Logo Design Brief

What: we require an eye-catching logo as the centre point of the new company - the first wow on a customers journey with us; something simple, yet bold and catchy.

Who: we are a newly formed subsidiary of a larger industrials company, however, there are no links to the parent company and we are looking to separate out this new business from the parent so a suite of new design products is required.

We are a team of management and technology consultants with industrial and business clients across the military, aeronautical and space, chemicals and petroleum, farming and agriculture, mining and resources, financial services, and high-tech (AI) industries. We provide consultancy advice to business executives and boards looking to reorganise and transform their businesses and technology to be more flexible and adaptive to the introduction of disruptive technologies and products in their industries (these are traditionally very old and established businesses that have not faced such threats due to their scale and industry dominance, but who are now under threat from agiler and less constrained competitors - e.g. the deregulation of the financial services market).

Colours: bold colours, something industrial but with a splash of colour to make it stand out and not look overly boring and greyscale.

Statement: strength through structure, innovative and leading edge, strong but flexible (oxymoron, yes).

Long term usage includes: business cards, invoices, letter heads, website, collateral and marketing

Requirements

Must have

• Simple but bold and professional.
• Industrial colour scheme BUT want a splash of colour as well - can be lettering or emblem / logo in colour, or both

Nice to have

• The logo can be text related - e.g. a combination of P and I, or it can be animal related - e.g. bear, bird. We're not pursuing a logo building related - e.g. a stack of houses, or smoke stacks, or a factory
• Colours: industrial with a splash of purple, or red, or blue or combination. This if these colours don't work with the design then still happy to review if colour contrast works well together.
• Logos we like: Boeing, A Lange & Sohne, Cisco, Vacheron Constantin, BASF, Thales, ExxonMobli, SpaceX Blancpain, Ulysse Nardin, Qantas
