T-shirt Design Brief
We are looking for fresh ideas for an existing design which we have used for a while which we designed, but feel could be improved. We are a retailer of T shirts and clothing in Cambridge UK and we specialise in tourist products. The idea is for a design based around the slogan 'When I grow up I want to go to Cambridge'. All designs must be around this wording. The existing design is available to view and has been attached. The existing design is a photo image of Kings College which is the most famous iconic view of Cambridge with the words overlaid in a simple child like font.
We would like a design which is more eyecatching and maybe with a more childlike style. Possibly a cartoon style. The design must be quite simple as we are going to place it on small items, e.g: bibs and very small baby T shirts which only have an area of approx 12 x 10 cms. If you want me to send you any copyright free images of Cambridge for source material, let me know. Please avoid subtlety - remember this is for kids and colourful is important. If we like the style and ideas from any designs submitted, we would be interested in placing more work. The designs can be in a photographic style, or graphic style. We are looking for a fresh take on the original, so we don't want to be too specific. There are many Cambridge icons which could be associated. eg: students on bikes, punting, mortar boards and gowns, classic architecture, dreaming spires, bridge of sighs, rowing, rugby, etc, etc. The Kings College image is obviously most closely associated, but doesn't need to be the main image. Please remember that the design needs to be quite small due to the products it will go on, so if it is too busy, may not be appreciated properly.
**Please note that although this is to be a small design for a bib and baby t shirts - the age range is to be suitable for up to about 5 years old, so the design should reflect the age range newborn to 5 years.
Updates
There are some images now attached to the brief if they help. There are a couple of pictues which are very 'cambridgey' which I don't have, but there are lots in google images if you need to see what I am talking about. Bridge of Sighs, Mathematical bridge, Trinity College Gatehouse. Don't use any images directly from others as they may be copyrighted, but if you need to use them to draw, that would be OK.

The design is to be appropriate for age range to about 5 years, so should reflect ages new born to about 5.
This wasn't clear in the original brief.
