Luger Management Seeking Logo design for an Upcoming DJ/Producer ( house&Club music )

We are abandoning the idea with the 8 ball, My client wasnt happy with it.
thanks to everybody for trying.

This is what we want :
1.A basic character/font based logo. ( the design must contain a font we can use )
2. No 8 ball, just the "8" (ST.ELM8)
3.White text on a greyish background. ( we can always talk about different colours later on)
4. Be creative with the font, but it still has to be readable
5. for inspiration : Tiësto, avicii,skrillex and so on.
