Logo Design Brief
I am looking for a logo in the shape of a hiking patch. It will indeed be used to produce embroided patches (to sew on backpacks for example), in addition to be used across our online presence and social media. No 3D effects.
We are a non-profit hiking club that specializes in the organization of pilgrimages for Christians. But as opposed to walking from town to town and church to church (like traditional pilgrims), our trips are in the wilderness, in Canada. A pilgrim is someone who walks with an intention, he is not just wondering around, he has a direction in mind, but his journey and destination are equally important. We always hike in mountain areas because the physical effort of climbing and the reward of the view contributes to the experience of the group.
Our color palette is from nature in the fall (we are in Canada...), see the picture in attachment, any color in this palette is okay for us: yellow, red, green and deep blue color. For the logo, ideally between 3 and 4 colors and white.
Key words for the design: mountains, trail, hike, crossroads, direction, compass, and anything wilderness related (tree, lake, river, etc). Preferably with a hiking/walking figure or not.

- The logo must fit into a badge/patch shape.

- no church or monastery, no camping tents, no 3D effects, (I am not sure about a cross, I am tempted to say no, but could work with the spiritual theme, please keep it subtle if you choose to use one in your design)
