Web Design Brief
Looking for a website, designed in WordPress, to provide information on family orientated running events that I'm organising in the UK (I've registered the website address buggyrunningevents.co.uk). Refer to the Project Brief document however as a summary:
These events are unique, as they are for people running with a child in a buggy (or in a wheelchair) and will be on carefully designed, traffic-free courses in Forestry Commission areas. The events, by using a specialist timing system, will allow runners to start within a two hour window therefore removing the anxiety / rush to get to the start line for the mass start. All events will be centred around a family day with face painting, adventure playgrounds, café and ample parking. Current thinking is a home page that will contain links to four separate pages, information about me and a blog from my Facebook and Twitter feeds, one page for two running events being held at High Lodge, Thetford Forest (www.forestry.gov.uk/highlodge) in October and December and another page for an event at Alice Holt Forest (www.forestry.gov.uk/aliceholt) in November. The third page will be information on the different running buggies available and how people can come and view them at each event and try them out on the course and if they like it they can purchase that buggy for a 10% discount of the RRP. They will need to email me to reserve a buggy for use at the event. The forth page will be information on myself ('About Me' and the details from my other website can be used at this stage). There will be a link from each event page to allow people to enter that particular race online from an external website (links to follow). My current website is an online shop selling running buggies (www.buggyrunning.co.uk).
I'm also looking for the website to be published (access to cPanel will be given to allow this).
Attached is my current logo (this will be replaced by a new one currently being designed but is nearly identical) so will be replaced before the website goes live. Also attached are a couple of photos to give an idea on running with a buggy and the different types of areas being used. One of the pictures is the lineup of running buggies so could be used on the third page as it was taken at one of the event forests. Also attached are two logos for the Forestry Commission that should be on the home page.
Alongside the website I'm also looking for two flyers to be designed to showcase each running event (to be used on Social Media and public locations such as cafes, nurseries, running clubs, gyms). One flyer for High Lodge Thetford Forest event on the 1st October 2017 and the second flyer for the Alice Holt Forest event on the 5th November 2017. Both these flyers will be a separate project and therefore attract additional payment for each. Will look to offer this work to the winning designer.

Requirements
Must have
- Clear and precise information that each buggy running event is family orientated, on an off-road course that has been carefully planned to be used by a buggy. Different page to highlight the event (i've taken a video of each course so people can see what the terrain is like), course map, course distance, hill profile, timings for the day, travel directions, course dates in 2017 and 2018.
- I'm also looking for the website to be published (access to cPanel will be given to allow this).
- Countdown timer to the next event.
Nice to have
- Map of the UK with the locations highlighted (with a link to the event page). More locations to follow during the rest of 2017.
Should not have
- A lot of writing in small font
