Logo Design Brief

The main purpose of the Victoria Convalescent Trust is to make grants to fund or part- fund short breaks for those, including Carers, of any age, living in England and Wales.

We are in the process of having an online website and grant application form built and NEED A LOGO.

Overview

The logo is required for a registered grant making charity -

The Victoria Convalescent Trust
Providing grants to fund short breaks for those in need of convalescence, recuperative care or respite care.
The main purpose of the charity is to make grants to fund or part- fund short breaks for those living in England and Wales for the purpose of convalescence, recuperative care or respite care.

Grants can be made to those, including Carers, who do not have adequate resources to fund themselves and who have been unable to obtain sufficient assistance from the statutory services.

Grant applications are not accepted from individual members of the public.

Design specifics

The logo should echo the theme of the website currently being built. Garamond font and green text are used. The aim is to reflect healing, peace, tranquility and refreshment. For example the image on the Home Page is flower leaves after rain/ in early morning dew. Other images on the website will be calming sea scenes, tranquil lakes.

The final design should communicate a sense of refreshment after a short break taken within the UK.

Please do not use images of people.
