Advertisement Design Brief

Cognition LLP is an innovative law firm based in Toronto, Canada. We were founded in 2005 and have grown to 30 lawyers. Cognition offers an alternative to traditional law firms by providing our clients with access to experienced, business-minded lawyers at affordable rates and with flexible working arrangements. We vigilantly maintain a low overhead cost structure and use only lawyers that have built successful careers at some of the most respected Canadian law firms and corporate legal departments. We require a 4.5" (width) x 7.75" (height) colour advertisement that will be placed in a weekly legal magazine with over 45,000 readers. The ad is intended to attract new job applicants to our growing firm. We want the design to reflect our innovative firm model and revolutionary spirit in order to attract candidates that are the right fit with our culture.

The ad must incorporate the draft text below (to be finalized with the selected designer) as well as our logo and the attached image (which we will purchase and provide to the selected designer).

Cognition LLP is leading a revolution in legal services. We are turning the legal profession on its head by having an open dialogue with our clients and focusing on their legal needs – in the way they want. To steer our uprising, we only enlist the very best. In the last year, we received over 300 resumes from daring individuals hoping to join our growing band of renegades. Just 2% of those applicants were welcomed into our family.
