Book Cover Design Brief

I have a previously designed book cover, and although I am mostly happy with it, I do not care for the photo on the cover of the book. I would like to keep the fonts and scrollwork on the current book cover (the brown outer edge is optional).

I prefer a Christian focus with a soft, gentle, grieving, trusting feeling of a mother as God leads without the typical religious symbols (ie: huge hands, overwhelming crosses, Heaven opening). Softly toned or small Christian icons would be acceptable.

The book dimensions are 5.5 X 8.5 and the spine is 1/2" thick.

On Friday, February 18, 2011, God did the unthinkable in our lives: He chose to take our 12-year-old son, Trent, home to heaven in a skiing accident. It is only considered the unthinkable because our plans are not God's plans and our ways are not God's ways.
