About Us / Value proposition

Intelistyle is an Artificial Intelligence(AI) personal stylist (iOS app) that helps users discover new outfits by combining existing or new clothes. Users can take a photo of any garment and get matching recommendations from clothes they already own or participating retailers. Unlike others, we don’t just show you “similar” items. We show you items that can be combined fashionably with what you already own, to create an outfit. As you use the app, we learn what you like and provide recommendations tailored to your body type, skin colour and style preference. We’re the only service that provides, free, instant and specific fashion recommendations for any item you want to style.

Problem we are solving:

Our UK wide survey found that 1 in 2 people need help deciding what to wear and waste 13-17 minutes/day. Every morning our customer gets up and struggles with what to wear creating frustration, wasted time and loss of confidence. It would be nice to wake up, instantly pick the items and head out the door.

Guidance for logo:

Our core values are: Stylish, Confident, Effortless, Personalised fashion for all tastes.

Our current partner retailers are: H&M, Zara, River Island, Asos, Zalando and Very. We are focusing on high street fashion and we don’t want to be “boxed in” to a particular style. We’re serving the UK/US mainstream high street shoppers.


We’re looking for a logo/App Store Icon that:

1. speaks to our target audience,
2. fits well with our retailer partner’s brands and
3. communicates the above core values and
value proposition.

Target Market(s)

Our target customer is 18-54 year olds (male & female), that care about how they dress and find it hard to decide what to wear (50% of surveyed UK population). It is important for them to dress well and they don’t have access to personalised fashion advice. Almost 50% of them spend <£500 on clothes yearly and 38% spend between £500-£1000. Initially focusing on UK but with international expansion in mind.

Requirements

Must have

• Must feel like a fashion app logo. It needs to communicate style and elegance as per core values above(Stylish, Confident, Effortless, Personalised fashion for all tastes).

Nice to have

• Would be great if the logo communicated the core proposition of the app. We do clothes matching/styling.
• It would also be nice to communicate in some way that we're an Artificial Intelligence app. This is not as important as communicating the core values of style/confidence/effortless/personalised above.
• I've included below a couple of sketches/ideas that we had that you might want to consider. They are be NO means exhaustive and you shouldn't feel limited by them.

Should not have

• Do note that if you chose to make something with the letters I and S (InteliStyle)..if they are presented on screen together, sometimes they could make a reference to IS (or Isis the terrorist organisation). Unfortunate but possible. We don't want that! :)
