Logo Design Brief

A simply designed logo for items such as work ware, signs, emails and general business needs.
I am aiming to build new homes, renovations and extensions.
For the design of my logo I want to look simple but modern to speak to a younger client.
For the backing colour of the logo I was thinking of useing black or similar so a brighter coloured logo would be preferred. (But I am open to other suggestions)

In short I would like a simple modern design to appeal to a younger market in the building industry.
