Logo Design Brief

This logo will be used throughout the business, from outside/inside signage to business cards, letterhead, t-shirts, website, etc. We would like to incorporate the name into a beautiful logo. We don't want an overly complicated logo since this will be used in many areas. We would like dark and lighter green shades but it should look good in black and white too. Assume a white background is what it will normally be seen on.
We are open to any creative ideas still but since the name is Sweetgrass Orthodontics we feel like that there should be something sweetgrass related integrated into the design somehow. When I say sweetgrass I mean something alluding to the craftsmanship and skill required to make the sweetgrass items, but not just the plants themselves. For example taking something from nature and using skill to make it into something more beautiful. We don't really like tooth shapes and brackets but a more subtle influence is ok that lets you see it is dental oriented but not obviously a tooth.
We treat children and adults, and since moms are typically the ones shopping for their child's braces it needs to appeal to that market segment without being too overboard feminine or playful since we treat adults as well.
Our doctor is woman who is highly trained at one of the best dental schools in the world. We believe in developing the best treatment option possible to achieve the best possible result for our patients.

Nice to have

• Something sweetgrass related, but stressing the craftsmanship of sweetgrass items not just the plants.

Should not have

• A big 'ol tooth as the icon.
• I don't like to see the glass granite like backgrounds, I only want to see the logo on a flat white background and in black and white on a flat white background.
