Logo Design Brief

I have been running a single proprietor bio-pharmaceutical consulting firm for the last 4 years and would like to have a logo that can be used on a business cards, invoices and limited promotional materials.

For instance, I would like to use the logo on a jacket, maybe some creative give-aways in addition to business cards.

Firm name is: Curtis Bio-Pharmaceutical Consulting
Would like to begin to use the abbreviation Curtis BPC
Want a logo that includes Curtis BPC.
Had envisioned a stacked Curtis over the BPC abbreviation, please see the attached JPG.

Would like to incorporate some color, but keeping it simple and straight forward Also need the logo to work well in black and white.

Blue and Dark Purple could be interesting colors.
Would like to avoid pinks
