Logo Design Brief

We need a logo (which will be used as the front face of our business card/T-shirts, ect). Primary color should be in blue. We would like the visual appeal to be modern.

Visit the Table is a social networking service for active Christian people who want to become more involved with the members of their local church and the community.

We believe our churches should lead our decuples; and our disciples should help build our church communities.

The network connects users with people in their local church, or the search can be broadened to connect with any Christian church actively using the site. The network is free to all members, and is funded by donations.

Visitthetable.org is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Mission:

Provide users of the social network a unique ability to grow the Christian community with other disciples in their local region.

How it works:

Once a user verifies their real name, city, and church affiliation-they are allowed access to invite other members of their congregation to join the site. The networking service allows decuples the ability to help grow their church together in the community.

Members of the church community will be able to complete a profile, which will identify them to their respective church. Posts made by the user will connect them with others of similar interests (community events, Bible studies, Christian classifieds, employment, meeting spaces and much more). This is a community Christian networking board in efforts to connect members of mega churches together.

Members of mega churches (2500 or more attendees) . The two churches we plan to launch with are the following:http://www.redrockschurch.com/ and http://flatironschurch.com/ This should give the designer the look and feel of our target audience.

Requirements

Must have

• We are open to options. The primary color must be blue. We do not want angels, praying hands, or any of the old traditional biblical looks. This design should be modern. Most mega churches have a large number of youths (under the age of 30). Rock bands are the norm with lots of fun group activities. We are not catering to an older crowd. We are up for crosses in the logo being there are three "T"s in our name -something to think about but not a requirement.

Nice to have

• We are open to any creative suggestions and will comment on all uploads on the same day . By no means do we want to waste a designers time running in the wrong direction. We played with the thoughts of having an old wooden table-or the look of refurbished wood as the background- which has become the new modern look. In summary-we are looking for a logo that will cover a business card (no white background), but also something we can take from the card and put on a T-shirt (the main logo.

• Angels, praying hands. two fingers touching-anything old looking from biblical times.
