We updated our brief. We would like to be a little more clear and focused. Like our company, we want to focus on precision. With that in mind, we want an independent logo. One that could be cut out with a laser, machined on a mill, or 3D printed. This means that simple is better. We have seen a lot of good ideas and we like designs that have gears and/or cross hairs. However, we would like to see a little more out-of-the-box thinking. Something more abstract that still gives the sense of precision. An optional extra to keep in the back of your mind is that we do want text to go with the logo, but the text takes a backseat to the logo.

Some thoughts to put in the logo could be a micrometer, a compass (the one you draw circles with), or a target of some sort.

Thank you everyone for all the hard work. This has been a pleasant experience and a lot of great ideas were displayed. We have selected a design and are moving forward with revisions.
