Logo Design Brief
We are a brand new moving company based in San Diego, CA. The next paragraph is to help you understand the specifics of our business. Our requirements for your designs are in the second paragraph.
Our customer will get charged hourly for our service.
Our usual service will include:
- a team of 2 to 5 professional movers
- a 20ft to 26ft moving truck fully equipped with professional moving equipment and packing/wrapping supplies
When our crew arrives to a customer on our truck they may provide the following services:
- pack household items into moving boxes
- wrap furniture in protective moving blankets
- disassemble bulky items with professional tools
- load furniture and boxes into our truck
- transport household goods locally (20-50 miles), intra-state (200-500 miles), and inter-state (500-1000 miles)
- unload furniture and boxes and arrange them at the customer's new residence
- reassemble furniture and unpack boxes
Our services may also include transporting pianos of any size, pool tables, office equipment, cubicles - pretty much any items that could be found within a typical household or an office.
As you may have already inferred from the information above, the key values in our business are RELIABILITY, HIGH QUALITY OF SERVICE, AND LOW RATES. Moving is naturally very stressful. Larger moves may easily take over 10 hours of continuous labor sometimes stretching into the late night. People would not call a moving company for something light and easy, most of the moves are very challenging physically and require extra strength from our movers. Time is of importance because our customers are billed hourly, therefore clients are looking for fast and efficient movers. Damages are common, and one of the major concerns of our customers is whether their belongings will be handled with great care. We would like to see designs projecting ENDURANCE, POWER, and CONFIDENCE but at the same time communicating TRUST, SAFETY, and EXPERIENCE. The winning logo would send a message to our customers: "We know what we are doing, your belongings are safe with us, and we will complete the task better than anybody else!". Keep in mind that Grizzly Bear is the state animal of California.
This would be our primary logo. It would be placed onto all our paperwork, our website, on boxes of our trucks, on our movers' uniforms, and etc.
Updates
We have seen 3 designs so far. Good start! Thank you! We like having the Grizzly Bear in our logo. Having just a bear head or a bear paw in the logo could work too. Or, could be bear claws tearing through and leaving tears similar to "Monster" energy drink sign. Or it could include typical moving attributes: moving trucks, boxes, furniture pieces, appliance hand-trucks, etc. (anything associated with moving). But these are only suggestions so we could see more options. We are completely open to anything cool!

Project Deadline Extended
