Someone defined an airplane once as: "30,000 parts flying in VERY close formation". Since an airplane is a prime example of a program (think Boeing/Airbus) and the close formation flying reflects how the program SHOULD be run (often as many as 10,000 activities that need to be performed in close coordination between the 100s of people working on the program), I would like to give this as an idea for a visual for some designers to play with and try out perhaps...
