Logo Design Brief

We are an excavating firm looking to update our logo. The current logo looks like we designed it on Microsoft Word (looks basic)....This logo will be on shirts/hats, trucks and heavy equipment so we are looking to emphasize GT in Ground Tech or shorting it to GT. We are also looking to change the colors to Black and Blue (like in the flame picture). The Logo is going to be on white trucks and Caterpillar yellow equipment. We are also hoping to pinstripe our trucks. Uploaded are files of the equipment the logos will be on and some examples.
