Logo Design Brief

I am a physician in CA specializing in the area of medical marijuana. I evaluate patients to see if medical marijuana will be appropriate for their medical condition(s). And, if it is, I then issue, what's the equivalent of a prescription.

The name of my practice is Pen Ts'ao which is the 1st medical text that documented the medicinal value of marijuana. It's a text created in China around 2700 B.C.

I already have a logo, which I've attached for your viewing, however, its not effective. It's not visible from afar due to the font and color. The image of the marijuana leaf attempts to describe the purpose of the clinic in the form of an image, however, it does not stand out from the rest of the design.

I've also attached some more designs that I've had previously designed for my clinic that I did not like due to the fact that these designs did not have the potentials to be viewed from afar due to either the design itself, the font, the color, and/or it did not convey the purpose of the clinic through the design.

I need a more effective logo. The logo has to be visible from afar for signage. And, the logo needs to convey the function of the clinic in the form of an image rather than words.

I'm looking for a font that is visible in all forms of media, including but not limited to books, magazines and newspapers. A font that can be easily read at all resolutions, such as on a website. The script/decorative font doesn't seem work well for what I'm looking for.

Target Market(s)

The most common complaints that patients turn to medical marijuana are chronic pain, insomnia and anxiety. These patients have tried the entire gamut of treatment options, including prescription medications.

  I've attached files for the font that I would like for my logo. It's called FSHUI, which can be downloaded here:
  http://www.dafont.com/font-shui.font.
  
  Also the very last attachment has an image of a MARIJUANA LEAF that I would
  like for my logo. If you could reproduce something similar to it to incorporate into my logo that would be great.
  
  In fact, I was thinking that the name of the clinic in the SHUI font superimposed on the image would look really nice.
