Illustration Design Brief

I have a kids book with 2 characters Ollie the owl and Elijah. It will be 11 scenes spread out over 22 pages. So when you open the book the image will be fluid/continuous from page 1 to 2 and then 3 and 4 will be it's own illustration etc.

The first 2 pages will be blank with the book dedication.

I also need the book cover designed.

In order not to waste anyone's time, feel free to submit 1 illustration from the options below and I'll choose based on that and then if I choose you you can design the rest at that time.

Ollie the owl had a lot to say
Sometimes his friends wished he'd go away

He'd try and try to make ammends
But he always made things worse in the end

Anyone at all that wouldn't ask him to go

Little Elijah prayed
God send me an owl
To make the gophers go away

Someone made a home for him and he didn't know why

Kids 1-5 years old

Design requests:
This is loosely based on a true story and Elijah has blonde hair/blue eyes. The backyard has a tree fort and a big garden and 2 cats (1 is orange 1 is orange/black/white). I would prefer a more realistic looking owl than a super cartoony owl but still whimsical. If you include any other kids in the last scene I would request they be of varying ethnicity.

*I intend to publish this independently via createspace on amazon and will include your name how you wish it to appear as illustrator as well as give you the opportunity to dedicate the book to someone if you would like. I will not use these images for anything other than this book

**I know this is not the biggest budget but it's a fun project I'm trying to do with my 3 year old son and intend to save any profits from the book for him to go to college. Thank you!
