Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for an established catholic community in Branxton NSW.
Our Parish is St Brigid’s, Branxton. It incorporates two churches - St Brigid's in Branxton and St Catherine’s in Greta.
Our Diocese has created a modern logo and we would like to have our own which has a similar feel.
We would like the logo to go on letterheads, banners and marketing.
The Parish school Rosary Park has a simple Mercy cross as the logo.
The cross of St Brigid could be utilised and combined with a fire symbol which is used by both St Brigid and St Catherine. Using the purple and blue colours which would represent the two churches.
Possibly a mercy cross (from school logo) in behind the St Brigid cross.
The Parish was established in Branxton in 1886.

The circular logo is preferred.
