Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for a new company based in Dallas called "Departing" and using the domain name Departing.com
We have two divisions... one sells pre-need/burial insurance that allows people to pre-pay and pre-plan their own funeral. This gift of love that they can provide to their loved ones after they pass allows their family to avoid the pain of trying to pay for a funeral out of their own pocket.
The second division is best described as "Open table for the funeral industry" and allows individuals to help to make their end of life decisions online.
We would like the logo to feature the blue color #2699ff but are only 50% stuck on that because blue tends to do well on billboards, so know that we prefer blue but if your design just won't work well with blue then feel free to deviate.
Our primary market is those aged 60 and older so being too edgy or technologically sophisticated will be at turn off. At the same time we need to convey elegance, empathy and a serious tone.
I really look forward to seeing the results of this design competition.
