Illustration Design Brief

I want to commission 24 tiles for my website.(http://leapfroginternational.org/)

Each portfolio tile is to represent a project that I have completed for my start-up international development consulting company, Leapfrog International.

It might help to think of each tile as 'art', not 'clipart'

You can currently see what we are trying to achieve at leapfroginternational.org - at the moment it is a bit of a mish mash, we'd like a design aesthetic that is innovative and reflects our work around 'international development' (e.g., projects in developing countries around mobile banking, governance, etc).

I don't expect the completed set of 24 tiles - if you submit an example or two, I'll then commission the successful designer to develop the full set.

Also, I'd like to have 1-3 words on each tile. So please incorporate this into the design.

I don't have a specific style in mind but have included a few random examples that I have liked from elsewhere. All of the tiles don't have to be exactly the same types of illustrations - in fact it may be better if there are some variations - but they do need to look good together in a portfolio. So perhaps a common colour pallet or style will be good (note the use of the hot red / pink on our current site).

I've attached a full list of the projects, but I need to do more work on this to describe the types of projects and give ideas for illustration. I'll do this with the successful designer.
