Logo Design Brief
Kgololo Academy is a new Kindergarten-12 school opening in the Alexandra Township in South Africa in 201
Kgololo means to set free in Setswana and the image of a torch with a flame epitomizes this concept of freedom in my eyes and I would like for it to be a part of the logo.
Our mission and vision are as follow:
Mission: At Kgololo Academy we grow and strengthen our academic and character skills and are prepared for success in university and beyond. We work collectively to develop ourselves and others and grow as leaders who lend our voices and align our actions to enrich our communities.
Vision: Kgololo Academy will serve as a model of excellence in South Africa, providing students from low-income communities with an exemplary, university preparatory education.
I like the idea of Kgololo Academy appearing together like this: KgololoAcademy with the two words appearing in different styles, ie., bold and standard and I am interested in using the color blue.

We want the logo to appeal to both younger and older students. Kgololo Academy aim to be a prestigious university prep school, but we also want to have a creative feel to our image.

Must have
- The logo must include a flame/torch of some kind. I am interested in soft and bold blues for the logo similar to that of Berea College (my alma mater)
