Logo Design Brief
We are a Structural Steel company in South Africa.
We have an existing logo www.lemco.co.za and have a good and solid client basis which is largely based on word of mouth and is relationship driven.
We are planning to launch standardised DIY portal frame type steel buildings(google for typical images) for the small to medium building size market in Africa by years end. Marketing will only be done in given countries local news papers, magazines and radio. From there the client interaction will be via our web site and phone calls and email.
We need a fresh logo that will immediately catch the eye of a potential client that is unexpectedly paging by an advert, and direct him to our web site. The logo, in combination with a slogan must be immediately identifiable with our industry and product. The product will be very unique in the way it is manufactured and assembled so slogans that came to my mind is: “reinventing steel” “reinventing structural steel” “reengineering steel” “reengineering structural steel”. Slogan is not a must! No reference to the old logo or colours needs to be made OR tweaked versions of the old logo is also welcome.
Our web site is very out dated and will be re-done once a new logo is chosen.
Please email for any questions, andries@lemco.co.za
