Requirements

Must have

• An artistic rendition of the Amelia Island lighthouse will be the symbol of the business. The drawing must be simple, clean and modern, so that the logo is a strong image that can be used in many ways and sizes (e.g., embroidered, full color, single color, web, print). Someone looking at the drawing must be able to see how it looks like the Amelia Island lighthouse.
• Note that this lighthouse is different from the image currently used on business cards (photos attached). A picture of the Amelia Island lighthouse may be found here:

• To represent the pool cleaning business, we would like to see a vibrant blue used in the logo. The Amelia Island lighthouse appears to be white with dark blue or black. We'd like to see a brighter blue used, like the color of a pool.

Nice to have

• Incorporate an element that helps someone to understand that this is a pool cleaning business, like a splash of water.

Should not have

• Highly detailed designs that don’t scale well when printed or viewed in smaller sizes, or that might be difficult to replicate in embroidery, glass or other media will not be considered.
