Logo Design Brief

I am creating a blog called "Buy Cars Better". The purpose, and possible tagline, is "Bringing Clarity to the Car Buying Process." The domain will be buyingcarsbetter.com and it will be a blog on a hosted Wordpress.org site. I have attached a logo for my affiliated Car Sales business. I would like the colors to complement that log, but the design and font should not be the same.
