Logo Design Brief

Treacy's Bar & Restaurant is an authentic Irish thatched bar & restaurant. We need a logo design for use on our menus & stationary.
The business is a busy local bar & eatery and the restaurant is famous country wide for good wholesome traditional cooking and its central location. We are a family friendly restaurant. The business has been in existence for over 250 years and is has been owned by the same family all that time.
The history of the building and the thatched roof make it appealing to tourists and the tourist market is definitely one we want to explore more in the future. The logo should represent the tradition but without being too hokey or didly-i. It must appeal to locals, new Irish customers & tourists. The design should be simple, memorable & timeless.

I have added photos of the building head on (they are not great pictures) but they may help in designing a sketch for the logo.
