Logo Design Brief

Company Overview. :


-Provides Live DJ streaming, with a video/webcam feed, and a chat room. Primarily from a studio, with remote location broadcasts often. Schedule, Video feed, and interactive chat room primary focus. Community established and supported. Bringing people in the industry together in a friendly environment.




Name reflects a communal “pool” of knowledge, music sharing, mingling, etc. FIRST of it’s kind in Australia, but has been done overseas.

(See Fish1, attached). Gosh darn it, we like the fish, However it"s origins are unknown. It was found in the big wide web. We love that design, however cannot track down the original designer, and and we don"t have the file in a high resolution for banners, posters, and the like. Also, ethically, we do not wish to use a uncredited logo now the concept has become a "business". If you can essentially clone this fish, I will love you.

We are looking for a relatively square logo, something that can be integrated into our new website, onto stickers, posters, and the like etc quite easily.

Target Market(s)

Our website offers live streaming DJ"s with a webcam/chatroom feature. Our target market is the 18-24, clubbing/festival demographic. Our DJ"s explore new sounds, but also play in some of Australia"s top venues. Our logo should be fun and appeal to this crowd, but also have an element of corporate credibility to appeal to sponsors.

• SoundPond.Net text must be in blue with a light hue. For an example of our preferred colour please see attached TxtExample1.jpg . Hue"s/shading acceptable, but that core element/colour must remain the primary.

• The font should be quite clean and crisp, but *not* neccesarily the same as our provided example.

• The logo should scale with the following ratio, the designated area on our new site is 200px width X 120px height. 5:3 ratio.

• We want something that integrates the "pond" concept, with the DJ"ing concept. The two example logo"s provided do this quite well, but one is not credited and the other feels unpolished.
