Logo Design Brief

We need a design for our new hip hop project named Saint Menacer which is a side project of Electrik Lemonade.

Our music is a mixture of old school hip hop with funky, soulful elements. Barney the rapper / singer has a gorilla with a boom box tattoo as can be seen in one of the shots which could serve as inspiration. In the end we're just about having fun, not taking ourselves too seriously and money/drugs/hoes.

There is a logo attached that I threw together awhile back that has our heads combined but it's pretty rubbish unfortunately! Finally, we would like a logo that works with or without the logo text please :)
