Logo Design Brief

we need a logo for a youth group at our church that is centered around middle school to high school youth. It needs to have a metal working type of rugged feel given the name and be something that looks new, modern, and professional. We have also tossed around the idea of something that looks like a crest but we are mostly trying to get a logo that would be great to put on T-shirt and make stickers for cars all the while imposing a feeling of community, brotherhood, and a sense of family. The bible verse the name of the youth group comes from is Proverbs 27:17 and it would be great if that could be incorporated in it as to show reference to the name of the group.
