Logo Design Brief

I would like a logo design for a new genealogy research business. The business name is called Lost Now Found Genealogy. We specialize in helping reconnect "lost" relatives with those who seek them, by using genetic and traditional genealogy methods.
We would like to see designs that can be used for a logo at the top of a website and on business cards that will draw the eye of our target client.

Other considerations:

* Because of the nature of the business, a lot of genealogy researchers use trees, roots and leaves as their logo. Do consider using perhaps a part of the tree, a modern leaf, or an abstract image of such. I like the idea of a compass surrounding the tree.
* Colors to consider including: green and brown (because of the tree thing noted above) but I'm not stuck on that.
* Would like fresh, active, strong, smart, fast considered for the colors as well as tone and fonts. Feel free to include a blue or a purple or red , if you would like.
* Modern but not too modern, definitely not old-fashioned or traditional. Hip and cool.
* Logo should include the business name as well as an image.
* Tagline is "Find your truth"
* The tagline should be included in one version of the final art, but also excluded (so the logo can be used independent of it)
