Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a newly formed competitive Ice Hockey team for 10-13 year olds from Queensland, Australia. The logo will be displayed on the front of our jerseys and will form our identity when playing interstate and overseas. We want to represent the three clubs that have combined to make this team by very lightly weaving in a strand of teal, red, and yellow into the Cyclone design. The logo should have "CYCLONES" but Queensland should either be small, or absent .

Requirements

Must have

• A Cyclone emblem with the name.

Nice to have

• The red, teal and yellow 'thread' to represent the three local hockey clubs that have formed this team. Otherwise colours should be original, up to the designer. We are thinking that the jerseys will be deep blue or purple, representing stormy skies however will leave this decision until the logo is finalised. Majority of logo colour can be a different colour such as silver or gray, purples, blues etc representing a cyclone.
