Logo Design Brief
I need a logo for my new law firm - "Law Offices of Parag Shah." I am a criminal defense attorney practicing in Southern California.
One of the designs that REALLY caught my attention was here: https://www.behance.net/gallery/5415593/Benicio-Lawyers.
I also attached pictures of stuff I liked. While I am not completely opposed to it, I do not like the idea of the usual "scales of justice" or gavel. I do not want something cliche.
I want something creative that can incorporate my initial or both initials into the design. I do not want something that is just my initials followed by Law offices of Parag Shah. Instead I want the logo to incorporate them in by design, color, or other creative way.
I liked the white, black and red color scheme and I like the White, grey, black and Blue color scheme as well. In fact I find myself leaning towards the blue and grey scheme much more. But I am also open. I wanted something clean and professional.
If the logo / design comes out right, I am open to having the designer create my website and design business cards.
Updates
I did not like earlier designs. I am now starting to get better designs and following up with feedback based on some of the designs I like. However, I have not found one that I am in love with. I also initially wanted a a longer deadline, but I was told I can get an extension later on, so I kept it on a short leash to get the ball rolling in anticipation of getting the perfect design early on.
Most of the designs look the same, and while there are some strong submissions, nothing is really jumping out. Better designs have been coming in that are top contenders. But there is nothing that I am completely sold on.

- You are the professional, so I trust your judgment.
- I attached a picture of what I liked. This doesn’t mean I want something exactly like this, but I liked the simplicity and modern look of the design. Also, the website / designer seems to have a logical basis for the design that follows what the company does. (i.e. balance, justice, humanity, etc). So there has to be some correlation between what the company does and why the logo matches the purpose of the company.

- While I am not completely opposed to it, I do not like the idea of the usual "scales of justice" or gavel. I do not want something cliche. The reason I said I am not completely opposed to it is because if there is a cool modern twist to it, I am ok. I try to stay open minded.
