Brochure Design Brief

Actually looking to do a double sided 9 by 12 trifold, site wouldn't let me change size.Juniper Hill Bed & Breakfast, 16 Elm Street, Trumansburg, New York 14886 607-387-3044/toll-free 888-809-3167, www.juniperhillbnb.com. We are a 5 room bed and breakfast in a historic 1920's Colonial Revival Mansion on 4 private acres within walking distance of the village of Trumansburg, home of many eclectic shops and eateries. We like to promote our centralized Finger Lakes location between Cayuga and Seneca lakes with easy access to their wine trails, as well as Ithaca (with its colleges, cultural attractions, fine restaurants), and Watkins Glen (amazing State Park). We do a creative 3 course full service breakfast emphasizing fresh local ingredients and accommodate dietary needs with advance notice. The house has been extensively renovated preserving its original floor plan and feel (house designed by Ithaca architect Clinton Vivian), yet offering modern conveniences. For our brochure we would like to convey contact information as well as information about our rooms, so you would be able to make a reservation just having the brochure and not needing to go online. We envision a trifold brochure with general house images on the face with contact info. and copy like, "The perfect romantic getaway for relaxation, intimate celebration, and a tranquil retreat in the heart of the Finger Lakes." The back of the folded brochure would have repeated contact info., "Call or check online for pricing and availability", with map of location of Trumansburg between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes with at least Ithaca, Watkins Glen, Seneca Falls and Geneva also indicated, and perhaps a picture of Taughannock Falls or vista of Cayuga Lake also pictured. We do not have pictures of these, but I see images are available in public domain online to use. Possible copy for this section, "Juniper Hill mansion is conveniently located to Ithaca, Cornell University, Ithaca College, Watkins Glen, Cayuga and Seneca Lakes wine trails, a myriad of state parks with gorges and waterfalls. Walk into Trumansburg for shops and fine dining, Fair Grounds, GrassRoots, or an 18 hole golf course". The 3rd portion of the trifold on this side would be general photos of the house, at least one with artwork on display, the dining room, or living room or all 3. Possible copy, "Juniper Hill houses an extensive collection of early 20th century American Impressionist art, at least 100 paintings always on display; all for sale to guests or public by appointment". The entire other side the inner portion of the trifold once all opened should show all 5 rooms with at least 2 photos for each showing bedroom and bathroom images with a small identifier of room and basic features. (Our 5 rooms are named after American artists). Mary Cassatt Suite, main bedroom plus sleeping porch, may accommodate 2 couples in high season/weather permitting, King bed, gas fireplace in main bedroom, Queen bed in sleeping porch, bathroom with separate shower and clawfoot champagne soaking tub, dual sinks; John Singer Sargent Room with Queen bed, gas fireplace, combination shower/whirlpool tub; Lilla Cabot Perry Room with California King bed, large pedestal champagne soaking tub with separate shower; Frank Weston Benson Room with Queen bed, combination whirlpool/shower; Lilian Wescott Hale Room with Queen bed, 2 person steam shower, private bath across the hall. Possible copy such as, "Juniper Hill's bedrooms are all renovated, preserving the original layout and detailing of the mansion. The rooms all feature hardwood floors, oriental carpets, rich fabrics, historic colors, turn of the century décor and original period art. Each has king or queen sized beds dressed in fine linens, some with fireplaces, all with private marble baths with spa inspired amenities". Added files will be images of house/grounds/common rooms first, then bedrooms in order as above, Cassatt Suite with Sleeping Porch, Sargent Room, Perry Room, Benson Room, lastly Hale Room, I've submitted anywhere from 2-4 images for each room. Additional information about the B&B may be found on our website, www.juniperhillbnb.com. It would be nice to coordinate appearance to that of the website, similar colors, fonts, etc.Thank you for considering to help design our brochure to market our B&B!
