Lipstick and Vinyl: Logo Design

I just wanted to comment and let you know that your resume is impressive. I hope you don't take it the wrong way, but I wanted you to know there are some errors in it (always great to have another set of eyes :) )
You go between tenses a lot. Mostly your activities section and strengths sections. As a rule of thumb if you are talking about an action that you still engage in, you should describe it in the present tense. If you no longer engage in those activities, then it should be past tense. If you are doing a bulleted list, I find it is easiest to start off with a sentence in your head that is unchanging - ie: for strengths I would think "My strengths include" and list them.

I once sold a ketchup popsicle to a woman wearing white gloves. (amazing accomplishment, I hope she enjoyed it thoroughly)
I hate to be forward, and while I don't plan on submitting to this contest I felt it was good to let you know
Best of luck, don't work too hard and you sound awesome!

Hello Maurissa,
This is incredibly helpful and generous of you. I am going to make the revisions you kindly took the time to sell out.
You are obviously empathetic. May I ask why you chose not to submit?
Thank you times a thousand,
Allyson
I am super swamped, with projects at the moment. When I saw the title on my feed I was curious in it as I specialize in more "off the wall", grungy, bold, hand drawn style logos and Lipstick and Vinyl just sounds bad ass! I feel that the logo needs a more "professional touch" and, as I really don't have time to respond quickly to meet your deadline, I didn't really feel like I was an ideal match for the project.
As for the suggested revisions, it is no problem. :) I would hate to notice something and not tell someone. :)
Well I love your "off the wall" and bold and hand drawn specialties. I also agree my brand needs a professional touch. I am going to extend the deadline just in case it makes a difference to you. No expectations, just want to see if I may work into your queue. All the best to you, my very first friend on DesignCrowd.
feedback please on my design #18296523 and #18296525 .regards
