Logo Design Brief

We are an Army Helicopter Squadron with a rich history. We have an existing logo that is outdated and needs a fresh look but retains the traditions of the unit.

I have attached 3 examples of the feel we are looking for.

The traditional Squadron insignia is the Australian Brushtail possum on a compass rose, at a minimum the Possum needs to be included in the design.

The unit was awarded the US Presidential Meritorius Unit Citation in Vietnam and we would like this included in the design somewhere (Crimson rectangle with gold surround). Could be just as a crimson stripe.

Our traditional colours are sky blue above dark blue. Attached are some of the existing and traditional insignia that has been used for the Squadron.
