I am starting a coffee shop in London selling healthy freshly made açaí smoothies and snacks, using recipes and fruits imported from Brazil.
Our smoothies will contain açaí mixed with other fruits and several healthy ingredients. Açaí is a very popular fruit that contains a huge range of vitamins and enzymes that are strong anti-oxidants ainding on a large range of healthy benefits with anti-aging and anti-cancer properties, amongst others. Very popular in Brazil, especially amongst the fitness fanatics because the açaí boosts the metabolism and energy levels and the smoothies can also be used as meal replacement, aiding on weight loss. Açai is already sold in the UK but, as pills because the taste of açaí itself is quite bad. However, in Brazil, we mix açaí into smoothies using other fruits and ingredients to make it taste delicious. This new way of consuming açaí will be a new concept in the UK and, what makes our business so much more exciting.
Our snacks, a secondary part of the business as our focus will be mainly on our acai smoothies, are all made using low carbs, zero sugar and high protein and fibre. We will also sell coffee freshly brewed using organic beans imported form Brazil.
In terms of concept designing, besides the healthy and fitness side, I am looking to explore the Brazilian, tropical and Amazonian style to highlight the origins of our product.

Fitness fanatics or anyone trying to get into a better shape but, struggling to cope with a busy life in London and poor choices of fast-food options for healthy meals and snacks.
