Build on the existing image to make it the insignia of a modern, digitally aware Australian based political party.It needs to have something that instantly connects it to Australia. The logo also needs to have a "digital" slant.
Updates
Thanks for the designs so far... The ones we like so far seem to have "less detail" in them so outlines of maps and animals rather than fine detail. These simpler designs will look better across a range of media.

- Australian Overtones: The base logo has the same basic shape as our parliament house flag pole. So could have a stylized eureka flag on the mast. Could also go with other iconic Australian images, kangaroos, land mass etc.The image should work with a single color and still be recognizable.
Nice to have
- Would also like to ensure all colors are used in the logo as there is no purple in the current image.
