Logo Design Brief
We would like a logo for our live music house show venue that we run out of our home. The venue is called The Hunky Dory and it is in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. We invite national/international musicians to play in front of 50-60 (mostly) friends. We would like to use the logo on shirts, hats, stickers, business cards and who knows what else, so we would like to be able to have a large, medium, and small version.
Attached are pictures of the space, the stage with artists performing (mostly an Americana, folk-punk, alt-country, singer-songwriter vibe), and our large cat, Donny - the unofficial mascot of The Hunky Dory. Also attached are images of the album cover and album cover artwork for Hunky Dory by David Bowie, which the venue was named after.
Our vision is that the logo will roughly replicate the album cover, but with Donny in place of David Bowie - perhaps with a paw behind his ear, but creativity is welcome.
Updates
Wanted to mention that most artists at The Hunky Dory will play acoustic guitar, which would also be an appropriate part of a design.
