Poster Design Brief

We need a poster designing for our 70th anniversary weekend. We are a heritage light railway. We would like to see poster designs that reflect a special occasion for the railway. The poster should be fun, bold yet professional. The design should also display a range of photos and text without looking overcrowded.

Requirements

Must have

• The project must have the following text:
• 'Join us as we celebrate our 70th anniversary weekend on the 14th and 15th July!
• To mark the special occasion, an intensive timetable will be in operation throughout the weekend featuring residents from the railway and some very special guests, 'Katie' from Kirklees Light Railway, Smokey Joe from Sherwood Forest Railway and 'Sian' courtesy of Sian Project Group.
• At Lakeside Station, there will be children’s activities, model railway layouts, a display of the CCLR's history, driver for a fiver and much more. There will also be a shuttle train operating between Lakeside and Kingsway.
• Plenty of photo opportunities will be available over the weekend so make sure your cameras are fully charged!
• All attractions and locomotives subject to availability.'
• It must have our company colours - maroon and cream and our company font Gill Sans MT.
• It must have our logo and 70th anniversary logo.
• It must include photos of Sian, Katie and Smokey Joe. No.24 (the big black loco) must also be on the poster.
