Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for the Alberta Cancer Outcomes Research Network (ACORN), a health services research network focusing on cancer. We want it to look professional, not gimmicky or flashy. The design should communicate data, collaboration, cancer-related, network of people, research. We are open to having an actual acorn in the logo as long as it's subtle. No preference of color.
