Logo Design Brief

Z Gear Pty Ltd is a new company that is focused on bringing to market a range of new fitness devices and garments to be used by ordinary people, all day, to help them gain strength, endurance and lose weight. We are looking for a new logo for this company, in several pieces.

The core design of the logo is a heavy, Algerian style Z (from PPT) on top of a gear wheel, where the diagonal of the Z effectively forms the cross brace of the gear wheel. (see attached image)

We want several components:
A gear wheel with no background, with one of each colour in black, steel, silver, gold, and blued steel
A large gear wheel, meshed with a smaller gear wheel in the same colours
A large gear wheel, meshed with a medium, then small gear wheel in same colours
The letter Z in a similar font in red, black, silver, blue, white

We want to be able to assemble the logo in our own way, and use components of the logo in different ways - thus the different pieces.

Requirements

Must have

• A combination of the letter "Z" and the "gear" image.
• Separate components for both the Z and the Gear, as well as combinations of the two.
• The logo must have an array of different colours to go against different backgrounds - the business cards should be BLACK witha nice high contrast image and font

Nice to have

• A bit of depth effect to the gear and letter would be nice
• shadowing / mirroring on the gear would be good
