Logo Design Brief

I have a new business called Carnival Costumes. It specializes in special occasion costumes RESALE and RENTAL. Some costumes are consigned/sold, some are rented. We also sell costume trims like sequins, stones, head wear and blingy accessories. The logo should be more horizontal than vertical (60/40). It should convey the fun or Mardi Gras and other special occasions that call for dress up and costuming. We have a website at www.carnivalcostumeslafayette.com.

To all of you who have sent a design in so far: THANK YOU! This process is cool, but also HARD! I have a cousin who is a graphic designer, actually a creative director, with a LOT of high pressure experience. He has done some logos for me before. I could have had him do this for his usual "cousin discount", but I actually wanted a FRESH approach. You're all worth every dime, so believe me when I say I wish I could choose five or six designs!

Please continue to submit. My AT&T home internet connection encountered problems this weekend and won't be repaired until Tuesday. I had to come to a cafe to get online. I am extending to Wed, March 21. midnight CST.
