Logo Design Brief
We need a logo designed for our start up called 'Berndales". We are in the food industry selling salad dressings, marmalades and jams.
We are looking for a simple design that can go towards the top of the label on dressing bottles and jam jars. The finished logo should be simple, traditional (Victorian feel maybe) but portray a feel of trust, familiarity and most importantly, an expensive and exclusive product.
Please see the two pictures I've uploaded. Ideally the brand would be something you'd find in these stores. I'm open to more modern if the creativity and quality is very high and I couldn't resist it but really I'm aiming for it to say "Modern Victorian Values"
On the labels for our first products we envisage using quite a large white area (below the logo) with different coloured themes for the different flavours, of blue, red and green, so the logo would need to fit comfortably with those.
All our bottles and jars are clear with black lids. The labels will be designed once the logo and initial recipes are ready.
Target Market(s)
All ages who enjoy salad dressing and jams, but as the brand will be sold in higher end stores rather than cheap supermarkets, an expensive and exclusive feel is important.
