YouTube Design Brief

I'm starting a new Youtube channel called 'Cardboard Chronicles' to discuss the basketball card hobby. I need a channel art design at 2560x1440 and a logo design/icon for my youtube channel. I want the design to portray the best era of basketball cards which was the late 90s with a modern flare. I've uploaded a card that inspired my branding. I really like the font of 'Precious Metal Gems' and the green flaming basketball. The green color screams 90s as well. The green might a little overwhelming as the background of the entire youtube banner.
