Book Cover Design Brief

EN: We need a cover for a 16 x 24 cm (WxH) book consisting of 21 biographies of famous women who have had younger companions. All are exceptional women. That they exercise their talent in painting (Suzanne Valadon), singing (Edith Piaf), theater (Sarah Bernhardt), literature, journalism (Colette, Simone de Beauvoir, George Sand, Agatha Christie, Marguerite Duras), cosmetics (Héléna Rubinstein), scientific research (Marie Curie), political struggle (Bertie Albrecht) - most of them were creative with passion. And it seems that work and success did not deprive them of attractions. Looked by sociologists as a marker of gender equality, still treated with irony, seasoned with a good dose of misogyny, the couple whose wife is older than the man, if it is more widespread than formerly because Western women are more free, (in 14% of marriages celebrated in France in 2012, the woman is the eldest of the man) this phenomenon, said of society, is not really one of it. There is nothing new. Lived in scandal or discretion, he is as old as the world. We are open to any proposal, but it is a book of fairly cultural historical biographies.
