Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a niche apparel company that creates vintage/retro inspired products for college football fans.

We would like to see:
-designs that feature the color red (specifically hex #841617),
-use the shape of a pennant (images attached; also easy to see lots of examples via google image search),
-and use our company name in a distinctive but clear font that matches a 'vintage feel'

One idea (although we trust your judgment) is to spell out the logo text in a similar manner to what one sees in diamond or circle shaped monogram fonts (examples attached, think: pennant shaped font)

The end goal is for a clean and distinctive logo. This will be shown primarily on a website. It needs to be impactful, but easy to read.
